Major Projects & Procedures

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERARapid Response work on some major projects, many of which can be emergencies following fire and water damage to properties.

Each of our contracts are allocated to a 'responsible contact' in the Rapid Response office. The allocated member of staff is then in charge of the smooth execution of the works required. The responsible contact will then liaise with the client and trades staff to carry out all works, with up to date information available on all projects utilising our internal systems.

Once a project is underway and booked in by the planning team, engineers are assigned, and the project is scheduled. The client will receive a confirmation text or email to confirm, and as in many cases, the occupier of the property will receive the same information.

Every project is then confirmed internally the day before commencing works to make sure engineers are fully conversant with the project requirements, and materials required are checked/loaded on the vehicle before carrying out the work the following day.

Following completion of works, a completion sheet is presented to the client/occupier, and photographs are taken and along with an invoice, emailed to the client.

Larger projects

The larger projects we deal with on a daily basis are managed by our in house project management team. The method in how we deal with projects still follows the same procedure as detailed previously, and each part of the project is broken down into separate jobs, allocated to specific engineers where required. A responsible contact is allocated on each individual element of the project and follows the job through to fruition.

The project management team will continually liaise with the responsible contacts to make sure the project is managed in the required sequence of work, therefore making sure efficiency is at the top of the agenda.
