Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis Cause 378 Roof Problems, No Match for Rapid Response Maintenance

The third named storm of the 2019/2020 season, Storm Ciara swept across the whole of the UK on Sunday 9th February bringing heavy rain and extremely strong winds. Storm Ciara pelted Essex and Suffolk with 80mph winds across the weekend, with Storm Dennis continuing the havoc.

Not only did the storms cause road closures, fallen trees and blocked train lines across the counties, but the widespread flooding and strong winds instigated damage and disruption to many roofs in the local area. The Rapid Response Maintenance team heard from 378 homeowners within a 24-hour period all concerned with the effects of the storm on their property’s roof.

Efficiently planned for such an occurrence, the project management team were able to send an experienced engineer to the site promptly, with the majority of the cases being seen within 4 hours from their initial phone call.

This period of busyness for the Rapid Response Maintenance team comes after our busiest January ever on record with 1,250 jobs completed in the 31 days of the first month of 2020!

We also extend a warm welcome to 3 brand-new clients, Gateway Property, Town & City, and Essex Properties Ltd. We look forward to serving them and continuing to serve Essex and Suffolk!

If your property was effected by Storm Ciara or Storm Dennis and you require immediate attention, the Rapid Response Maintenance team can react very quickly. Call us today on 01206 256 489.
